TOMORROW NIGHT–Forest Fire Radio is Back for the Summer!

“A place belongs forever to whoever claims it hardest, remembers it most obsessively, wrenches it from itself, shapes it, renders it, loves it so radically that he remakes it in his own image.” ~Joan Didion

This summer radio series will feature poetry and music from the rural U.S. Our places shape us in ways we might not fully realize, but the environment surrounding us filters into how we move through the world. Themes of travel and stasis, homesickness and homecoming resurface again and again in creative works proving that our environments matter. The people and animals in them matter, so tune in every Thursday to join in this sonorous road trip to the backwater towns and blue highways of the nation.
