And Now I Know Why They Call It Paradise

Image I’m here in Kingston, Jamaica doing an anthropological study on how Jamaicans relate to nature. It’s interesting in a country where so much of the natural world is overtaken by foreigners.

I’m working at an environmental organization run by the government called the National Environment and Planning Agency. I go around trying to get people at the agency to talk to me about nature and then go on trips. ImageThey say the island has the melody of Europe but the rhythm of Africa. My favorite parts are the lond drives and swimming EVERYWHERE I can.ImageThanks to Rita for the pictures!
